When Amiri uses her bury a card power, has the upgrade to bury from the top of her library instead, and has no cards in hand, she gets the benefit for free. By which I mean no card appears to be buried from the top of her deck - there's no animation, no change to deck size, no new buried cards. Seems to happen every time for me at least.
