Daily challenges progress bar keep popping up

Hi,

So, whenever I play online, the daily challenge status bar keeps popping up every few minutes, even when no progress is being made. It's just random. Quite annoying too, as it is superimposed on your hand of cards.

And it's not just during gameplay, also when I'm in a menu or character screen.

Any ideas what might be going wrong here?

Not had this happen when no progress has been made on the challenge. But I do think that the timeout on that darned bar is way too high for something that sits across my hand of cards. Really irritating.
