Game audio priority over other apps

I have the habit of muting the music and sound of games I play and listen to apps for radio, podcast, music etc while gaming.

 

However, whenever I load up PF adventure, the audio of those apps gets cut off, stopping the playback all together.

 

Any way to resolve this game audio taking the highest priority despite muted? I have not encountered this issue with other games.

 

Apps with problem: PowerAmp, DoggCatcher, Best SG Radios

Configure browser push notifications
