Stuck on vistory screen

I lost "Into the Mountains" with the last surviving character dying while defeating the villian (I think anyway - I wasn't paying enough attention to notice I would die).

 

So now I get the "Victory" screen, it adds 100 gold, I click continue. The blue continue arrow is inactive. Both characters are dead with skulls floating over them. Selecting either of them doesn't do anything. All I can do is being up options and go back to the Main Menu (the 100 gold doesn't actually get added of course back at the menu).

 

Am I just stuffed and need to restart the entire adventure path? Or can I get out of this state?
