End of Mission Rewards when character disabled

I am not sure if this is a bug or a "feature," but at the end of one the second campaign segment (the first that you need to purchase - I don't remember the name right now), after a victory, the characters get a new card slot added to their deck.

 

However, in my case, one of my characters was disabled at the end of the adventure.  When the adventure ended, the "live" character got the additional card slot, but the disabled character did not.

 

I replayed the adventure, thinking that the disabled character would get the extra slot once she completed it alive.

 

That didn't happen.

 

Now, it seems like the disabled character is forever barred from getting that extra card slot, which will impact that character's effectiveness in later, tougher adventures.
