I am posting now because my save is kind of broken and it kills my gaming experience on this otherwise beloved game Please apologize if this topic has been discussed somewhere else, I only found a related topic with similar bugs but it had not been solved since the poster did not join any files.
So here is the problem description :
previously explored maps became unexplored, all monsters have respawn!
as a consequence, picked up items can be picked up again : for example, I have now at least six duplicates of “unique” yellow items in my inventory.
as another consequence, some PNJ’s tell me a second time the same things as they did already. And visions appear a second time too. Dialog options that I chose the first time are visible as already chosen (darker grey).
other consequence : some previously locked areas that request a special key are now locked forever because I did the quest at a former time, I accessed these zones and now the maps have reset but not the associated quests (e.g. Brakenburry sanatorium basement).
the messenger for the Yenwood battle has appeared different times in my stronghold with the same dialog, he even was present in duplicate at some point.
the dialogs and questline of this Yenwood battle appeared in some strange order that was not logical at all.
a dialog icon on Éder portrait continually shows that my warrior companion has something to tell me. But when I talk to him, no new dialog options appear and Éder has nothing special to tell me... Maybe this is because the dialog triggred already before the bug appeared, I don't know.
The first time I noticed explored maps being unexplored was when coming back from the fifth level of Endless Paths of Od Nua. But ok… I really thought it has something to do with the “endless” appellation and I thought it was on purpose. But then I came back in my stronghold and in the outside world and it was the same thing… So I was annoyed about it but I continued playing. And then other strange consequences happened. I have to admit that I do not enjoy playing like that…
But the thing is... I really can not be sure when it started happening. Since I did not post here on the first day, I do not have the output log and a savegale from directly after things happend for the first time. So I link here the files I think my be useful (a curent savegame and output log and a savegame that I think was from a time before the bugs appeared).
Here is the link to all my files (that's google drive, not dropbox since dropbox is not free anymore as far as I understand).
