Hello,

I am interested in the localization files of Pillar of Eternity. I figured out quite quickly how they worked, except for this :

 

<NextEntryID>1</NextEntryID>

I don’t have a clue about it. Can anyone tell me what is its purpose?

Maybe a bit late. The NextEntryID is for the tools which manage the strings and which Obsidian have. In most cases it should be one larger than the largest ID used in the file, but it doesn't have to.

 

For localization purposes you can ignore it.
