Question is: If you would have a quest editor, what features would it hold?

Besides the easy answer "edit quests", what would you like to do with it? How would you tackle the task of writing a quest / conversation and transpose it to a format the game understands? Should texts have more focus than a complete overview? If so: Why? Are persons more relevant than items? Or does such a distinction not apply? Write anything that comes to mind.

If you are an obsidian developer please tell about your internal tool. What are your baseline expectations for an other, non unity backed tool?
