Hi ^^

I just bought the game yesterday (GOG) and I was waiting for the 2.0 patch to play.

But I have a few questions :

I've seen a lot of people that were having trouble with their saves so I am not so sure, when patch 2.1 will come out, will I be able to play it with my 2.0 game saves, or will I need to start over the game again to get the 2.1 patch benefits?

I am looking forward to buy The white march, but I want to get into the game before doing it. Let's imagine that when I end the game I decide to buy The white march, will I be able to play the extension with my caracters and my end game save or will I need to start a new game in order to play the extension?
