Will the expansion and 2.0 update be compatible with saved games?

I'm thinking of starting a new game, getting to act 2 and then waiting for the expansion and update. My concern is that saved games wont be compatible. If a dev can clarify this question id be really grateful.

Pre-2.0 saves should be compatible with 2.0.

Well since perception is changing with the new expansion, I was wondering if things like that will be compatible. Will perception in my saves automatically change once the expansion comes out?

You should be presented with an option to re-spec you characters when loading a pre-2.0 save for the first time in 2.0.

Whether you choose to do it or not, the attributes/skills will get the new characteristics 2.0 is bringing along.
