Gary1986
I'm thinking of starting a new game, getting to act 2 and then waiting for the expansion and update. My concern is that saved games wont be compatible. If a dev can clarify this question id be really grateful.
vv221
Pre-2.0 saves should be compatible with 2.0. It has been officially stated a couple times. Install easily Pillars of Eternity and its extensions on GNU/Linux
Gary1986
Pre-2.0 saves should be compatible with 2.0. It has been officially stated a couple times. So that applies to every new thing the expansion offers?

Gary1986
Sorry, I don’t understand your last question. Well since perception is changing with the new expansion, I was wondering if things like that will be compatible. Will perception in my saves automatically change once the expansion comes out? vv221
You should be presented with an option to re-spec you characters when loading a pre-2.0 save for the first time in 2.0. Whether you choose to do it or not, the attributes/skills will get the new characteristics 2.0 is bringing along. 1 Install easily Pillars of Eternity and its extensions on GNU/Linux
