after the patch... or whatever... I decided I should play some PoE again and try and get myself out of a bit of a jam I was in.

 

The fight went much better this time. Like an idiot I hit F5 and closed the game to go check the patch notes to figure out why the battle was so much easier now. Didn't see anything obvious in the patch notes...

 

Started up the game again

 

reloaded my save

I can't... do much of anything other than open menus. Can't even re-save and re-load.

Your mobileobjects.save file is probably messed up.  Not sure how it happened exactly (probably something with saving while alt-tabbing), but that's likely the issue.

so the solution is to... just reload an older save?
