After a certain...encounter on level 15 of Od Nua, the "word balloon" icon pops up over Kana like he has something to discuss. However if you initiate a conversation with him, there are no new dialog choices.
Not sure if the phantom chit-chat is the bug or the notification thereof, but thought I would mention it.
