Grieving Mother can't equip melee weapons anymore?

So all the sudden i notice Grieving Mother is just running around in battle with no weapons. So i go to her inventory and for the life of me even when i try to equip them it doesn't show up on her model at the inventory screen or during a fight. My last save is several hours back. She can no longer use melee weapons, i am forced to use ranged.

How developers can help you if you even don't give them any save files?

have you tried dismissing her in an inn then recruting her back? that resets most bugs on companions
