April 22, 201510 yr Hey there, I've searched looking for something specific about how to apply patches to the linux client from GOG and all I'm seeing is a 6.4gb tarball, version is currently 1.2.0.3. Is this how the patches are to be applied? It appears this is a complete client re-install. Do I overwrite everything? What happens with my game saves? Thank you
April 29, 201510 yr The official method is to re-download the whole archive each time it gets updated. The unofficial one is to download custom-made patches from there: https://www.gog.com/forum/pillars_of_eternity/linux_unofficial_patches No matter which one you use, your savegames, settings, etc. will be kept.
