April 19, 201510 yr I bought the game from GOG, downloaded, unzipped and ran start.sh. The game starts, I watch the opening credits (or click a mouse button to skip them), and then the first menu screen comes up. All seems OK, the music plays, the background pans left and right, the mouse cursor moves and animates when clicking, but when I try to click any of the options, nothing happens. The option buttons don't even animate on mouseover or when clicked. The only way to exit the game is to kill it manually. Is there anything I can do to make it work? My system specs: Dell Latitude 6430u processor: Intel® Core i5-3437U CPU @ 1.90GHzgraphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000memory: Nanya Technology 8GiB SODIMM DDR3 Synchronous 1600 MHz ARCH Linux 64 bitkernel: 3.19.2mesa: 10.5.1game: 1.0.4.0540 The forum won't let me upload the Player.log file, so here's a pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/wFRtyYWh Also, here's the output of the lshw command on my system: http://pastebin.com/1ntGL7Dn And here's the info that the start.sh script outputs to the console: Running Pillars of Eternity Set current directory to /home/pedro/down/Pillars of Eternity/game Found path: /home/pedro/down/Pillars of Eternity/game/PillarsOfEternity Mono path[0] = '/home/pedro/down/Pillars of Eternity/game/PillarsOfEternity_Data/Managed' Mono path[1] = '/home/pedro/down/Pillars of Eternity/game/PillarsOfEternity_Data/Mono' Mono config path = '/home/pedro/down/Pillars of Eternity/game/PillarsOfEternity_Data/Mono/etc'
April 30, 201510 yr Author Um. Hello? Is there a chance that this gets resolved, or am I out of luck? Or is there another way to get support? I really don't want to return the game :/
