Hi all, this post is only in order to write my forst impression on the game "Pillars of Eternity", after 32 hours of play. I m an old pnp player, and i bought Baldur's Gate in 1997,( its first edition here in Italy, where i live.) So i can say that i m a sort of veteran of those kind of games and i dont need a lot of  time to have a precise opinion on a new game such this.

My opinion is that this game is the rightful heir of the Baldu'r Gate saga. My opinion is that is the best computer game of this gender since Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Temple of Elemental Evil, Planescape Torment. Probably Pillars of Eternity contains the best of all those previous games. For example, i ve  bought all the Dragon Age Saga, from the first to the third episode...and i felt that it was lacking of true pnp taste, and true epic...it was boring, repetitive...Really a fantastic 3d graphic factor, ok, perfect... but a very poor  game if compared to Baldur's Gate.

Now, Pillar's of Eternity match its ancestor...and furthermore, with also a far better isometric graphic, it is quite the "natural continuation" of the Baldur's Gate spirit of "venturing forth"

Yes, there could be some little bugs (and i think they will be solved fast), but it doesn't matter. The only important thing is that this game now exists!

thanks
