Pre-order code used after launch

Quick question.

 

If a pre-order code is used, after launch, will the pre-order bonuses be available (pig and ring)?

I ask because I purchased a pre-order code, but when I activated it (a few days after launch) I didn't receive the pre-order bonuses (pig and ring).

The company I purchased the code from is trying to tell me that it's because I didn't use the code before the launch of the game.

I've never heard of this. I've activated pre-order codes weeks after launch and gotten the items I should.

 

Is what they claim true for Pillars of Eternity?

I've got the situation finally sorted.

 

Finally spoke with someone who helped me at the company I purchased it from. The person who reviewed my grievance originally, handled my case improperly. Now everything is getting sorted.

 

Not sure if you can remove threads, but I've no need for assistance.
