Game Freezing on Main Menu

I am having an issue with running the game. Once the game launches I can get to the main menu but after about 10 seconds or so the game completely freezes and I am forced to close the game via Task Manager.

 

I have tried all the troubleshooting tips from the FAQ here on the forum but none are working.

 

PC

CPU: i7 4770K

GPU: 980 GTX (Latest Drivers Installed)

RAM: 8GB

OS: Windows 8.1 (All updates installed)

 

I've tried running as admin and running under compatibility mode but nothing seems to work.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
