Mouse Cursor Issue

I can access the game and click on various things but when I get to the point where I choose my skin colour the mouse doesn't register.

 

This on PC, of course.

I can access the game and click on various things but when I get to the point where I choose my skin colour the mouse doesn't register.

 

This on PC, of course.

 

It turns out it's because the game thinks I have a gamepad connected when I don't.

 

I could easily change the ini file if I knew the correct variable.

 

preferred_device = mouse (

 

I've also tried 

 

preferred_device = keyboard

 

In location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\South Park - The Stick of Truth

 

Can anyone help with this?

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
