I keep having trouble in the light house in defiance bay after the shades appear ill almost kill them all an my game will mess up its happened more than 3 times an I cant go no farther Please help

Three times doesn't seem that long.  I'll let the grognards give advice, but the simplest thing is to lower the difficulty.  No shame in that.
