Modding - setting up?

Hi folks! I know there aren't any tools out for official modding support but does anyone know, or could point me in the right direction to set up an IDE or Unity Engine to be able to access Pillars' system files and make adjustments.

 

My main aim is to disable autosaving as a modder (arx) did here:

It's currently outdated but I'd love to update it if possible (it's mainly for personal use but I'd surely share it with permission and credit those involved). Autosaving in every scene is frustratingly long towards mid-end game.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
