Hi guys, early in the game I have a chance to recruit a custom follower, what class should I pick?

My main is a Barbarian

Greetings

What do you like to play most, Sir Arthur?  Melee or ranged?  ...and do you like support or DPS?  For myself, I like my wizard and I'm really keen on trying a chanter also.

I would like to create a rogue(that could switch to meele/ranged),but idk what stats I get.

Might = more damage

Int = longer debuff durations

Dex = faster attacks

The others are defensive stats and you don't need them for a DPS character.

Cool,seems like I'll do a standard rogue, nothing really crazy cause It's my first run.

Chanter seems like a good option, Sure I'll give it a try.

You get a Chanter early on, if you go to Caed Nua. There is no Rogue NPC though, so if you want one you have to make a custom.

I wouldn't make a Chanter because Kana is excellent and you get him right after Gilded Vale.

Go with a rogue or monk.
