Should NPC Crippling Strike ignore LOS?

I accidentally posted this in the Story forum so I'm reposting.


 


I don't know if this is a bug, but my PCs are getting attacked by enemies out of LOS. I've had it happen several times to my priest in this dungeon. I don't know if it was only the priest that was targeted or the only one I noticed it with since any hit would kill him.


I don't have a rogue in my party to check, but is Crippling Strike even a ranged attack?


 


In this instance:


- I spotted a single enemy in a small room while stealthed with priest.


- I moved my group close outside the room and priest moved to back of the group.


- Ranger moved up and engaged the enemy, then ran back to the group.


- NPC used Crippling Strike while still in the room and hit my priest in the back of the group.
