[Major Bug] Items disappear permanently from companion inventories when removed from party

At Caed Nua.  Have any items in a companion's inventory and "quick items" slots.  Remove the party member from the party and then re-add them.  Items in the inventory and quickslots are gone.  Happens 100% of the time.  Doesn't happen with weapons equipped.

 

Note the chests in each companion's room do not have the items in them.  Also, not sure if it matters, but I had "looted" each of those empty chests beforehand by clicking on them and clicking "Take All."

 

Can't upload a save since it is 1.5 MB in size and the upload limit is 500 KB.
