Significant performance drop after today's patch

Featured Replies

After today's patch game isn't nearly as smooth as it was on release, not mentioning yesterday's patch that allowed me to disable AA. Now it's stuttering when I look around the map and I have really low framerates judging from moves of characters. It's barely enjoyable now, really.

Now I admit my gear isn't nearly top shelf (notebook with i5 430m, mobility radeon hd 5650, 4gb ram) and I do play with full hd resolution, which is more than my notebook was designed for, but the game worked just fine before this patch.

I noticed some fog effects when I fired up the game. Not sure if it was there earlier. Did the patch add some effects that may be the cause for my performance drop? If yes, is there a way to disable them? My graphic level slider is all the way to the left.

I had the exact same problem late last night and this morning. Tried everything and it didn't improve, did a full system reboot and it seemd to have been completely fixed. Unsure if you'll have the same experience but maybe it will help!

I solved the problem on my side. It seems my GPU went into energy saving mode for some reason, coincidentially after I downloaded a patch. Sorry for bothering anyone.
