arkhanari Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 To make PoE playable I have to set "msaa 0" but it is frustrating to do it over and over again as I change maps. Can I apply this setting to the game via a command line addition or by editing a settings file to make the change permanent?
0 Maunter Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 IE mod Added a console command "ForceAA number". As you may know, you can set the Anti-Aliasing through the Msaa command, but the game doesn't remember this setting and resets it every time you transition to another area. By using ForceAA, the game will remember your desired setting. Accepted parameters are: 0, 2, 4, 8. Default is 4.
0 sanpats Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 IE Mod or wait for next patch. Dev said they will expose the AA setting in the menu. It was supposed to be there, but they forgot to expose it.
0 Azureblaze Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I'm not sure if it works but I disabled (Forced off) all AA options in the Nvidia control panel specifically for the Pillars of Eternity exe file. My performance seems fine, so perhaps something you can try if you have an Nvidia card, not sure about other graphics cards.
