Game crashes when loading Copperlane save files.

I just got to the Copperlane district and quicksaved.  The game crashes after about ten seconds of the loading screen if I try to load either that quicksave or the Copperlane autosave.

 

I can still start a new game and load saves from that new game, so it appears to be a bug with saving the game in the Copperlane district, which is a problem as I don't have any saves from outside that district. Have I just lost all my progress?
