Hidding/Stealth and Secrets

Hi,

 

Not sure if you are happy with sneaking/hidding mechanics.

 

As it used to be in BG, I could go into hinding with only one character. Sneak around, scout map, find traps and secrets while rest of my party could do any other action without hidding. 

 

There were also different key binded only to "find traps/secrets". So I wasnt forced to sneak every time to find traps and secrets.

 

It is quite annoying that whole party goes into hidding every time I want to check some room for secrets or scout map.

 

It would be nice to implemet additional button to find traps/secrets or just let one character to hide.

Not sure why Obsidian missed it and leave it like this.

Yes, please! I also find lack of separate "find traps" button annoying, as much as putting my whole team into stealth mode. Please, fix this.

You are not alone on this opinion, and Obsidian already knows that group stealth system sucks.

I also don't understand why they downgraded it from old IE or NWN games. I only saw somewhere that they didn't have time to implement it because it would generate 20-30 bugs. Such an excuse is kinda lame for me. 

Anyway they said that it will be implemented in patch/expansion. I didn't see any confirmation which one would that be.
