Performance issues when several characters are on screen.

My frames per second plummet to about 14 fps when several characters are on screen. Characters with modal outfits seem to be worse (characters that can wear different armours and weapons) The starting camp shows this especially but as you can imagine it is also an issue in many other places.

Lowering the resolution has no effect nor has removing AA with the console. Further more running the game as administrator does nothing either. Closing background processes does nothing either even the very big ones.

I am running a Intel Core 5i 2500k, Radeon R9 290X and I have 16GB of ram.

Now something that might have an effect is that I use an onboard graphics system to be able to run a second monitor but I don't know if this would help.
