March 30, 201510 yr I bought the game from Steam yesterday and I am able to play up until you exit the cave and the scene starts. All the dialogue is displayed, but when the camera pans (and music plays with screaming) nothing else happens. I have uninstalled/reinstalled and tried with more than one character. This is a giant issue since I am unable to play a game I was looking forward to and paid the $45 for. Any sort of known fix for this issue? Thank you.
March 31, 201510 yr Same problem here. When I escape the cave (at the beggining of the game), the dialog box appear, the animation start, the music play and then.... nothin happen... The screen is lock (no HUD) and cannot click on anything. Quite disappointing.... I'm running the game of a mac (yosemite, macbook pro mid-2013). I can provide more information if required. I would like to know if this is going to be fixed in the upcoming patch. Would also appreciate a reply. Thanks you.
March 31, 201510 yr Same problem here. Game lock down when exit the cave at the beggining. I'm running the game in ubuntu linux 14.10 64bit.
March 31, 201510 yr Run the game in administrator, and change the screen resolution to 1280 x 768 (windowed mode).
March 31, 201510 yr Switching to windowed mode solved the problem. the animation can play and finish. Will know what to do if that even happen again...
March 31, 201510 yr Many users have reported running into framerate issues and frequent crashing. If this is happening on your machine, please attempt to disable anti-aliasing to increase performance. This can be done by pressing the ` key, (the one to the left of the 1 key on your keyboard). This opens the command console. Then type into the console "msaa 0" without the quotes, and hit the enter key. After doing this you should notice an increase in performance and hopefully this will help to resolve the issue. This needs to be repeated on each transition. We are working on creating a toggle in the options menu.
