I don't know if this is a benefit from completing his personal quest or if he's silently going super saiyan but Kana in particular has had his attributes increasing at random intervals. At the moment he has 22 perception and 33 intelligence and just now I noticed he went from 29 to 33 just from simply loading the game.

 

Oh and get this, as I was writing this and the game was paused his perception just went up to 23.
