I put freeze in quotes because the sound happens of the death or whatever and the picture pans up and the tree leaves still fall but the game never moves forward from this point. I have to force quit and restart. I don't want to try another game as I don't have time to really waste on it.

 

This happens after I click through the speech.

 

 

My system is a I-5 2500k 8 gigs of ram and a amd 6990 (I think) and windows 7 64 bit.

Im guessing from how buried this post has become things are a bit hectic in the bug department.  I guess i will put this game down for a few months and come back after a few patches.

I have same issue. I hear a patch is coming soon. I uploaded my diag files on another post so hopefully they saw this too. You are not alone.
