I can't play in English using Steam

I have so many issues with the French translation that I don't want to play the French version anymore. So I've searched about how to play PoE in English under Steam. I saw all the information I needed here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8487-WSCN-4121

 

So I double-checked, my Steam interface is in English and the language for the game is English.

 

My Windows (7) interface is in English as well. I have only set up French in some parts of my computer (locale formatting and keyboard settings in Control Panel > Region and Languages) so I don't get why PoE is starting in French. It shouldn't.

When you say "the language for the game is English" do you mean the setting in Steam or in game?

Just in case you missed it, there is a language option in the in game options menu.
