I play CRPGs god knows for how long. I know they dont tend to be user-friendly when it comes to keybinds, interface and what not. PoE has been a total pain in the butt for the last couple days for me. I mostly use software called "Autohotkey" for workarounds and quick'n dirty solutions but simply the game prevents key registers like modifiers and combination of keys a alot.

 

I think it is a directinput problem. but does this game have some sort of cheat protection? is anybody else having similar issues?
