Fixed Most of My Crashing/Flickering Problems

I had the same troubles that others were having (game crashes and stuttering graphics and sound) and after some adjusting the game works perfectly for me now.

 

What that made the biggest difference was going into the POE exe file and launching it in Windows 8 Compatibility mode (I'm running 8.1) that fixed the crashing and the graphic clipping/frame rate issues. To get rid of the sound issues I deactivated the tool tips and tutorial from the game menu.

 

If you're running windows 8.1 try this, hope it helps.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
