March 27, 201510 yr In the Ritual Cutscene, I believe it is the second in the plot, when the leader of the ritual walks up to the device the animations for the ritual do not begin and the game sits endlessly, presumably waiting for the animation to finish. I tried beginning a new game to no effect and am currently re-installing the game to see if this fixes the issue. If anyone else is having this problem or knows a way to resolve it I would appreciate any advice available.
March 27, 201510 yr I have also experienced this issue. Mac OS X, GOG build. I have not gotten past the problem area.
March 27, 201510 yr Turning off MSAA fixed this for me. Backtick ( ` ) to open the console, the "Enter" to enter a command, then "MSAA 0". I turned it back on after the cutscene with no further ill effects.
March 27, 201510 yr Im not sure why this isn't on the known issue's page yet but turning off msaa and reducing the resolution are the only ways to potentially get around this bug as it is tied to framerate. If that does not work there is no other workaround until the game is patched.
March 27, 201510 yr I'm having the same issue. Turning off MSAA didn't help. If it is timed to framerate, that makes sense, because my framerate is pretty low (but I'm ok with it so whatever.) Hopefully this gets fixed soonish.
March 27, 201510 yr I am having the same problem. Turning of msaa did not fix it. I am stuck. Hope it gets resolved soon.
March 27, 201510 yr What's MSAA and how do I turn it on again if I switch it off in order to get past that cutscene? Thanks!
March 27, 201510 yr Was having same problem, turned off msaa and turned down resolution and it worked for me.
March 28, 201510 yr This worked for me on Toshiba laptop with AMD. To turn MSAA back on I just did the same process but typed 'MSAA 1' instead which seemed to work? I turned it off and set the resolution to the lowest setting and was able to progress. Thanks to those that provided the solution. Would not have figured this out otherwise.
March 28, 201510 yr I did the MSAA thing and it didn't work, so I changed to a lower resolution and tried it. That worked fine and I'm back to enjoying the game, THANKS!!
March 28, 201510 yr Experiancing the same problem. Neither disabling MSAA or lower the resolution fixed it.
March 28, 201510 yr Experiancing the same problem. Neither disabling MSAA or lower the resolution fixed it. I had to do both at the same time to get it to work.
March 28, 201510 yr Tried doing both at the same time and it didn't work either. However putting it in window mode in addition to the other two fixes seems to have allowed the ritiual to progress normally for me.
