Yes it is, it either works and cuts your fps in half or it just doesn't work.

 

Its a nasty issue that affects AMD and Nvidia cards atm (running 14.10 GNOME Ubuntu)

If it's working then I'm still getting quite a bit of screen tearing so I don't think it's working for me.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
