Time hang on opening inventory

When hitting "I" or the icon to open inventory my game hangs for at least ten seconds or crashes

 

Its not a hardware issue as its a modern computer and only has ssds no hdds

 

looking at the output file it looks like im missing files, well ive verified the game and its still doing it
