It just says The Stick of Truth has stopped working, but I see the error details. It also gives me another error that says Failed to start game: app already running. And I only start the game once, not repeatedly.  Can you help me?

  • 3 weeks later...

I have a similar issue. Game crashes after Gameware splash screen.

I have a GTX 770, with GTX 570 HD dedicated to Phsyx. 8-core AMD processor, 16gb ram.

Win 7 x64 with Geforce Experience, all updates installed.

The game used to run fine when I last played it months ago. Since then, I've reinstalled windows (about a month ago).

I don't have Xfire installed.

Any suggestions?

Ridiculous this game is this unstable (considering the numerous crash threads I read while trying to sort out this issue)...
