March 22, 201411 yr I've just started playing on my laptop (core i3, geforce 640m, 4gb ram) and the game has been generally running fine. However, when I press space to go into Butters' room it just freezes. Butters is still talking and I can bring up the pause menu, but I can't move or perform any actions. All other rooms seem to be fine so far Same thing happens when I try to head 'up' just past the bus stop. I this a known bug? I'm playing via steam so I'm guessing any patches have been downloaded. I also can't seem to get the bow to work outside of combat. I hold F but then the mousepad doesn't work. Any suggestions?
March 26, 201411 yr Author For anyone else having this freezing issue, the following seems to have fixed it for me: Please try to Verify integrity of the game cache, to do this:-1.Load Steam2.From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.3.Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.4.Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.5.Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit. I must have had a corrupted file or something as steam re-downloaded something and it seems fixed. Thanks to Ubisoft for that. Still can't shoot though
