Help Kotor 2 not showing up

Need help figuring this out.  I'm trying to run the game (sw kotor 1&2 dvd set) but it dose not show up and no error mesage. I looked thru the task manager and I can find the process swkotor2.exe running!? I have up dated every thing I can think of. 

 

Windows 7

I have the ATI radeon 5570 graphics card>>updated

installed the Direct X that came with the game disk

run the program in compat mode for win XP sp2, sp3 and not at all.

and most other "fix" I've read about.

 

I did install Kotor 1 and it runs fine.
