I always considered crafting a bit...problematic.

 

It raises too many questions when your master swordsman is ALSO a master blacksmith. Where does he find time for both? If he's a master blacksmith/enchanter, why is he adventuring? If he can create epic items, he could retire from adventuring easily.

 

I don't really want to see crafting that can do anything more than basics.

Crafting legendary and great items is something that should be comissioned from masters.
