thejman217
Hi, guys. i have both kotor1 and kotor2. nothing major has happened to my computer but now they lag quite a bit on my computer now. i have played both kotor1 & 2 on my computer and they used to not lag at all. And the way they lag is really wierd too. WHen i open up the game, it runs fine for about 15-20 mins, then it starts lagging for about ten minutes. After the ten minutes, it starts working normally again, for a shorter period of time though. then it starts lagging for the same amount of time AGAIN. it is a form of "on and off" lag i have never experienced before on my labtop. Any advice for fixing this lag. BTW, i already added "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" to the graphics options and that didnt help. any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks! Btw here is a description of my labtop Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, build 7601) System Manufacturer: emachines System Model: emachines D525 BIOS: Ver 1.00PARTTBL<<<-----No idea what this means Processor: Intel® Celeron® CPU 900 @ 2.20 GHz, ~2.2GHz Memory: 3072MB RAM DirectX Version: DirectX
thejman217
By the way, i HAVE NEVER experienced this type of lag before, and i played both KOTOR1 & 2 before on my labtop months before with no problems. now i decided to play it again with the TSLRCM, by the way the 1.7 mod works really well and it was very well done, great job!, and now all of a sudden it is lagging. (It also lagged before i downloaded TSLRCM so im pretty sure thats not it.) it is also slowing down my empire at war game. once again i have made no major changes to my labtop, so i dont know why it's lagging. any advice? thanks!
