Speaker 5-19 Game Designer Joseph Bulock and Entrepreneur Ash Kumra

 

So you know how we haven't had any speakers for weeks? Well, this coming meeting Monday May 19th, the VGDC will host not one, but TWO industry speakers.

 

At 6:30, Joseph Bulock, designer at Obsidian Entertainment will talk about what its like to work as a designer at a AAA company, as well as how he got in, and all that other good stuff. This is a unique opportunity for those of you interested in game design, so don't miss out!

 

At 7:30, we have Ash Kumra (--> Google him) who is a serial entrepreneur in the digital media space, and also a UCI ICS alumni. He is starting another company focusing on publishing user videos that may be published/reviewed as part of a new game concept. He is interested in recruiting some VGDC members to work on some game development projects through summer internships.

 

Its going to be a busy meeting, so we will be starting right away at 6:30 this time. So better not to be late.
