Just bought the KotOR2 from GAME and installed it - but it won't start

 

Every time I try to run the .exe I get the following error:

abnormal program termination

Any ideas how to fix this?

Update on my ongoing battle to play this game:

 

Managed to find some patches on this site: http://www.lucasarts.com/support/update/kotor2int.html

 

downloaded and installed both...

 

now get the following message:

Please remove disk from the current CD/DVD drive and insert the original

disc

in another drive ?:.

______________________________________________________________

 

I only have on CD/DVD drive and I've already got the chuffing disk in there!

 

grrr

 

any advice please???
