From bluesnews; Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator is an independently developed networked multiplayer game for Windows that allows networked PC to act as the various stations on the bridge of a starship. A playable demo is available for sampling, and here's word on what to expect:

Artemis simulates a spaceship bridge by networking several computers together. One computer runs the simulation and the "main screen", while the others serve as workstations for the normal jobs a bridge officer might do, like Helm, Communication, Engineering, and Weapon Control.

Artemis is a social game where several players are together in one room ("bridge") , and while they all work together, one player plays the Captain, a person who sits in the middle, doesn't have a workstation, and tells everyone what to do.

This so reminds me of the FASA Star Trek Starship simulator RPG back in the day. While the graphics does not seem all that impressive the gameplay sure does seem to get the job done and succeed at its main goal. The only downside of this is you need a good 3 or 4 ppl per 'ship' and getting that many people in one room with that many PCs seems more fit for a new cafe kind of setup then something one can easily logistically do at home.

"I cannot profess to be a theologian; but it seems to me that Christians who believe in a super human Satan have got themselves into a logical impasse with regard to their own religion. For either God can not prevent the mischief of Satan, in which case he is not omnipotent; or else He could do so if he wished, but will not, in which case He is not benevolent. Fortunately, being a pagan witch, I am not called upon to solve this problem."

An interesting idea. It definitely appeals to a niche that would be all up into something like this. For the same reasons it'll likely remain in that niche however.

Haha, great idea - I've already pitched this to 5 friends and they are onboard.. we even have a projector!
