i am having huge issues with crashes on KOTOR2. i really wanted to play this game since i have a friend back at school who loves it. unluckily it crashes everytime after the first movie saying it has stopped working. i have tried downloading the mss32.ddl someone online offered, but that still failed. i have also uninstalled it and reinstalled it. still it makes this same issue. it tells me that everything with my computer is capable except my video which it says fits only the minimum requirements, which on many forms i have seen many people complain of that. i have a dell inspiron 1525 laptop with an Intel

here is my computer stuff in more detail as per the rules in the "solving 'help'issues" forum.

 

Operating System: Windows Vista

Laptops are notorious for having issues with Kotor2. It seems the game really hates on-board graphic cards.

 

Some have had luck with disabling visual themes (in compability)

 

Maybe try this:

 

Open the swkotor.ini file and set

FullScreen=0

and add

AllowWindowedMode=1

 

That was a solution that seemed to work for some on another forum.
