I Seem to have a unique problem

I have used all the fixes around the net in order to play KOTORII, but I still have a problem:

 

When I play the game, there is still no sound, and the cutscenes (e.g. with Atton or with the Logs onboard the Peragus computers) rush through. I cannot see the conversations with NPC's except for my own character's options.

 

Has anybody else encountered this same problem? I have replaced the mss32.dll, and I've been running the program as an admin in compatibility mode. (I have Vista)

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
