KOTOR 2 - text missing

Hey guys

 

I am facing a Problem with KotOR 2

 

i can start it no problem but i can not see the real menu and so on (see pictures)

the text is missing!!

 

I tried severel times to patch the game but it dit not work.

 

Patch 1.0a aborts instantly and says : " Old file not found "

when it looks for "dialog.tlk"

Patch 1.0b runs til about 90% then: " Old file not found "

when it looks for "dialog.tlk"

 

i tried today about 4 reinstallations + registry looking for "star wars" and cleaning

but it did not help

 

i am running Windows 7 32-bit

i do not think it could be my graka

beacuse on Vista i could play it

but this was a year ago

i read something about installing older drivers but

i do not think Windows 7 will like it
